— Alien Bots when trying to take the player's flag.
|
The Alien Bots are a faction of S.T.A.F.F. Bots found exclusively within Fazer Blast's arena. Acting as enemies for the Fazer Blast game, they come equipped with Fazerblasters and will attempt to shoot the player with them. They debuted in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach, and would later appear again in its DLC, RUIN.
Appearance[]
Alien Bots are regular S.T.A.F.F. Bots that wear green helmets with two antenna. They also carry around Fazerblasters. In their appearance in RUIN, the Alien Bots all appear dirty, and in varying states of decay, with some having lost their limbs, lower halves or heads. A handful of them are also seen wearing green variations of the Instructor Bot's vest.
Behavior[]
Alien Bots act as opponents within Fazer Blast, and must be shot with the Fazer Blaster to be defeated. They will shoot at the player when in range of them, and will attempt to destroy any flags the player has captured. Similarly to the Glamrocks, hitting them with the Fazerblaster will stun them, however hitting them directly into the eyes will completely destroy them. Points are gained in Fazer Blast when doing this.
The player's health in Fazer Blast will decrease every time they're shot by an Alien Bot, and the player will not only lose the game and have to restart of their health is completely drained, but they will also receive a game over when this happens.
In RUIN, the Alien Bots primarily act as map objects, appearing deactivated in piles and broken up into pieces, with a few of the still fully-in-tact ones holding up the wreckage of the attraction. Some of them can be seen fighting for and clawing at power cables and battery boxes, suggesting that in their final moments, these Alien Bots were attempting to keep themselves online, even at the cost of their fellow S.T.A.F.F.
Unused Content[]
Two unused variants of the Alien S.T.A.F.F. Bot can be found in the files. One version is almost entirely green, with red triangle symbols on its chest and the sides of its helmet. This version also has large black markings around its eyes, meant to resemble a more stereotypical depiction of an Alien. The second variant, known internally as a "Lazer S.T.A.F.F. Bot," is mostly black in color, with green markings on its chest, pink cheeks and a dark forehead.
Both of these variants go entirely unused within the base game for unknown reasons.

Trivia[]
- Alien Bots are the only hostile animatronics in Security Breach to not jumpscare the player in any way, as their hostility is exclusively in the context of the Fazer Blast game.
- Despite this, they can still kill the player.
- The Alien Bot piles feature many broken variations of regular S.T.A.F.F. Bots, likely due to the Alien Bots themselves being regular S.T.A.F.F. just with helmets.
- Alien Bots are the only animatronics in the entire game which can be completely destroyed by a Fazerblaster, other S.T.A.F.F. Bots and other characters will only get stunned or be immune.
- Due to their height, the antennas on the antennas on the Alien Bots' helmets clip through the ceiling in most areas in Fazer Blast.

- ↑ Most S.T.A.F.F. Bots have both masculine and feminine voices for their lines, which are interchangeable in-game.
