Help Wanted

The Camera Monitor is a vital mechanic in the Five Nights at Freddy's universe, which allows the player to check on live footage of the animatronics and different locations. It appears in several challenges in Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted.

The camera monitor makes a return on the FNaF 1 challenge, it contains nine cameras which allows the player to watch over the animatronics.

In FNaF VR: Help Wanted, the camera monitor now appears in the table, in front of the player. Instead of a monitor with tappable virtual buttons, the camera now has actual buttons in order to prevent from blocking the view of the camera. It also does not consume any power since it stays on throughout the night.

Upon viewing certain animatronics on the camera, it will prevent them from moving until the player stops watching them. However, others are able to cut the video feed if the player is still looking at the Monitor when they move.
