The Camera Monitor is a vital mechanic in the Five Nights at Freddy's universe, which allows the player to check on live footage of the animatronics and different locations. It appears in several challenges in Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted as well as a primary mechanic of the Faz-Watch in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach.
FNaF VR: Help Wanted[]
The camera monitor makes a return on the FNaF 1 challenge, it contains nine cameras which allows the player to watch over the animatronics.
In FNaF VR: Help Wanted, the camera monitor now appears in the table, in front of the player. Instead of a monitor with tappable virtual buttons, the camera now has actual buttons in order to prevent from blocking the view of the camera. It also does not consume any power since it stays on throughout the night.
Upon viewing certain animatronics on the camera, it will prevent them from moving until the player stops watching them. However, others are able to cut the video feed if the player is still looking at the Monitor when they move.
The camera monitor makes a return on the FNaF 2 challenge, it contains nine cameras which allows the player to watch over the animatronics.
In FNaF VR: Help Wanted, similar to the FNaF 1 challenge, the camera monitor now appears in the table, in front of the player. Extra Functions[]
The monitor also sports extra buttons, these are: The Music Box button, which allows the player to wind it in order to prevent the Puppet from coming out of it; and the Flashlight button in order to help see clearly the live footage of the camera. The vent light buttons are also now closer to the player giving an advantage for faster prevention of the animatronics.

In FNaF VR: Help Wanted, similar to the first two challenges. the camera monitor now appears in the table, in front of the player. Instead of a monitor with tappable virtual buttons, the camera now has actual buttons in order to prevent from blocking the view of the camera.
Extra Functions[]
The camera now contains two viewing monitors, the hallway monitor and the vent cameras. Only one viewing monitor is available at a time. There is also an audio lure button that allows the player to lure Springtrap at a different camera in order to prevent him from coming to the office.
The player is also provided with a maintenance panel in order to repair the needed repairs that the animatronics caused.
The camera monitor in the Danger! Keep Out! challenge is similar to the camera in the FNaF 1 challenge, as both challenges is set in the same setting. It contains nine cameras which allows the player to watch over the animatronics.
In FNaF VR: Help Wanted, similar to the other challenges. the camera monitor now appears in the table, in front of the player. Instead of a monitor with tappable virtual buttons, the camera now has actual buttons in order to prevent from blocking the view of the camera.
Extra Functions[]

General[]
The camera system is a mechanic that can be accessed via the Faz-Watch in Security Breach. They display all nearby enemies, and the camera UI glows red when motion is detected on a specific camera. Most locations in the Pizzaplex hold only 2-6 cameras, or none at all. Most security offices within the game will also display nearby cameras on monitors, including the office that the Burntrap fight takes place in.
