Five Nights at Freddy's is the first entry of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise. The game was made by Scott Cawthon, and is ported by Clickteam. The game is released on November 29, 2019. Due to certain reasons, the game is released on February 3, 2020 on PS4 for European market.
Game Description[]
“ |
Welcome to your new summer job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, where kids and parents alike come for entertainment and food as far as the eye can see! The main attraction is Freddy Fazbear, of course; and his two friends. They are animatronic robots, programmed to please the crowds! The robots' behavior has become somewhat unpredictable at night however, and it was much cheaper to hire you as a security guard than to find a repairman. From your small office you must watch the security cameras carefully. You have a very limited amount of electricity that you're allowed to use per night (corporate budget cuts, you know). That means when you run out of power for the night- no more security doors and no more lights! If something isn't right- namely if Freddy or his friends aren't in their proper places, you must find them on the monitors and protect yourself if needed! Can you survive five nights at Freddy's? |
” |
Gameplay[]
The game takes place in Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, and the player plays as a security guard. The player must survive until 6 AM and avoid getting attacked by the animatronics: Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy. The only defense given to the player is two doors and a camera system. The player can use the camera system to track the animatronics down and close the door when they are seen in the doorway when using the light. However, the player must use these sparingly as these consume power. Once the power is completely used, it will cause a blackout, and Freddy will attack the player after a while. The game includes 5 nights with an additional Night 6 and a seventh "custom night" , where the player can adjust the animatronics' difficulties.
Difference[]
While the gameplay is mostly the same as the PC version, there are some additional features exclusive to the console ports. For example, there are Achievements added in the game that can be obtained when certain goal are completed. There are also cheats available, similar to the Remastered Mobile Ports. However, achievements will be disabled when cheats are turned on. The player also has the ability to pause the game.
Animatronic Characters[]
- Freddy Fazbear: Freddy only attacks the player when there is a blackout before Night 3. After Night 3, he slowly makes his way towards the office and is hard to see on cameras since he hides in the dark. He also makes a laughing sound when he moves. He normally comes to the right door, and only rarely goes to the left. He won't appear in the doorway so close the right door until he goes back to the dining area.
- Bonnie: Bonnie is active since Night 1, and he makes his way towards the office by the left door. Close the left door when he is seen in the doorway.
- Chica: Chica is the same case as Bonnie, except she comes by the right door.
- Foxy: Foxy needs to be watched constantly on the camera. He slows down his movement if the player watches him regularly. If he gets out from the Pirate Cove, he will run quickly towards the left door, and the player only has a few seconds to close the door.
- Golden Freddy: Golden Freddy rarely appears in the office when the player pulls down their camera after seeing a Golden Freddy poster. When he is there, the player must pull back up the camera.
- Endo-01: Endo 01 does not attack the player or move to different areas, but he can look at the cameras along with the backstage heads rarely.
- Cupcake: The Cupcake, while not a threat to the player, appears as a prop Chica holds on-stage, as well as a prop in the player's office.
Human Characters[]
- Mike Schmidt
- Phone Guy

Welcome back to the new and improved Freddy Fazbear's Pizza! Now with new friends to entertain kids and growns-ups alike! In Five Nights at Freddy's 2, the old and aging animatronics are joined by a new cast of characters. They are kid-friendly, updated with the latest in facial recognition technology, tied into local criminal databases, and promise to put on a safe and entertaining show for kids and grown-ups alike! What could go wrong? As the new security guard working nights, your job is to monitor cameras and make sure nothing goes wrong after-hours. The previous guard has complained about the characters trying to get into the office (he has since been moved to day-shift). So to make your job easier, you've been provided with your very own empty Freddy Fazbear head, which should fool the animatronic characters into leaving you alone if they should accidentally enter your office. No place to run, and exactly one place to hide. As always, Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for death or dismemberment. |
” |
Gameplay[]
The player is placed in a "revamped" Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, and has a role of security guard once again. Similar to FNaF 1, the player has a camera system to keep track of the animatronics in the establishment, which include the Toy Animatronics and the Withered Animatronics. In additional, the player can use their flashlight in the cameras. The office has 3 entrances, two vents and a open hallway. These can be lighted up, but can't be blocked with doors. Instead, the player needs to wear the Freddy Fazbear Mask when the animatronics are about to or are getting in the office, so it can fend them away. If this is not done in time, the player will be jumpscared.
However, there are certain animatronics that don't have the same case. For example, Withered Foxy will stand in the hallway, and the player needs to flash him with the light a few times so he goes away. The player also needs to wind up the music box so that the Marionette won't attack the player. Balloon Boy is the same as others, but instead of killing the player, he disables all the lights, including the player's flashlight.
Difference[]
While the gameplay is mostly the same as the PC version, there are some additional features exclusive to the console ports. For example, there are Achievements system added in the game, and can be obtained when certain goal is achieved. There are also cheats available, similar to the Remastered Mobile Ports. However, achievement will be disabled when cheats are turned on. The player also has the ability to pause the game, as well as the ability to toggle the aspect ratio.
Animatronic Characters[]
- Toy Freddy: Toy Freddy is active in Night 1 and 2. He moves from the Show Stage to the office by the hallway. When he is in front of the player, the player must quickly wear the Freddy Fazbear mask to fend him off.
- Toy Bonnie: Toy Bonnie is active in Night 1 and 2. He acts the same as other Toy Animatronics, except he comes through the left vent. The mask must be worn when he is visible in the vent exit.
- Toy Chica:Toy Chica is active in Night 1 and 2. Her behavior is the same as Toy Bonnie, except she comes through the right vent.
- Mangle: Mangle is active since Night 2. She starts from Kid's Cove, and makes her way towards the office through the right vent. Noises can be heard if she is in the vent exit, so wear the mask when there is noises in the office.
- Balloon Boy: Balloon Boy is active since Night 2. He starts in the Game Area, and makes his way to the left vent. If he is visible in the vent exit, wear the mask until he left, or he will disable all the lights.
- Marionette: Marionette is active since Night 1. It only stays in Prize Corner. The player must wind up the music box regularly, or he will attack the player.
- Withered Freddy: Withered Freddy is active since Night 3. He starts from Parts & Service, and will enter the office through the hallway. Wear the mask when he is inside the room.
- Withered Bonnie: Withered Bonnie is active since Night 3. He acts similar to Withered Freddy, but he enters the office through the left vent.
- Withered Chica: Withered Chica is active since Night 3. She acts almost the same as Withered Bonnie, except she uses the right vent.
- Withered Foxy: Withered Foxy is active since Night 2. He only appears in the hallway. When he does, shine the flashlight at him for a few times and he will leave.
- Golden Freddy: Golden Freddy rarely appears in the office. When he does, the player must pull up the camera. Wearing the mask does not work.
- Shadow Freddy: Shadow Freddy only appears rarely in the Parts & Service. He doesn't threaten the player.
- RWQFSFASXC: RWQFSFASXC rarely appears in the office. Wear the mask or pull up the camera to avoid being attacked when he is in the office.
- Endo-02: Endo 02 rarely appears when the marionette leaves the prize corner or appearing in the vents.
- JJ: JJ can rarely appear in the office underneath the desk. She isn't a threat to the player though.

Game Description[]

Childhood nightmares should remain in the past. But owners of the "Fazbear's Fright: The Horror Attraction" are unwittingly bringing the terror back... Thirty years after Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closed it's doors, the events that took place there have become nothing more than a rumor and a childhood memory, but the owners of "Fazbear's Fright: The Horror Attraction" are determined to revive the legend and make the experience as authentic as possible for patrons, going to great lengths to find anything that might have survived decades of neglect and ruin. At first there were only empty shells, a hand, a hook, an old paper-plate doll, but then a remarkable discovery was made... The attraction now has one animatronic. |
” |
Gameplay[]
The player now plays as a security guard in Fazbear's Fright, a horror attaction about the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. As usual, the player must survive until 6 AM and avoid being attacked by the animatronics. However, the animatronics in the establishment except Springtrap are not able to kill the player. Instead, they will cause distraction and other problems. Springtrap on the other hand will move towards the office and attack the player. The player has an audio distraction system to use to distract Springtrap from getting closer to them. They can play the audio near Springtrap further from the player to fend him away for a while. When Springtrap is in the vent, which can be heard with noises, the player can also seal the vents before he passes through.
There is also a maintenance panel in the office that the player needs to take care of. As the audio device, camera system, and ventilation will break down from time to time. The panel is used to reboot these systems and solve the problems. If these are not fixed, the player might not be able to use audio distraction and camera system, or even cause the player not able to breathe, and make Springtrap move more frequently. The player might even see multiple Springtraps on cameras due to hallucination. Phantom Animatronics can also cause these system to go off.
Difference[]
While the gameplay is mostly the same as the PC version, there are some additional features exclusive to the console ports. For example, there are Achievements system added in the game, and can be obtained when certain goal is achieved. There are also cheats available, similar to the Remastered Mobile Ports. He walks towards to the office and can be distracted by sound if the noise is played near him. He will go towards the source of the sound and stays for a bit until he gets back on track. He can also pass through vents, and the player must seal them before he gets through.
- Phantom Freddy: Phantom Freddy randomly walks through the hallway in front of the office. When he does, the player must not stare at him for too long and pull up their cameras or maintenance panel. He will disable the ventilation when he attacks the player.
- Phantom Chica: Phantom Chica randomly appears in CAM 07 in the arcade machine's monitor. The player must change the camera view before closing the camera when she is seen, or else she will attack the player in the office, disabling the ventilation system.
- Phantom Foxy: Phantom Foxy will randomly appear standing in front of the box of parts that is present in the office. The player needs to open the cameras before looking at him directly, or he will attack the player in the office, disabling the ventilation system.
- Phantom Balloon Boy: Phantom BB randomly blocks the monitor view, and will attack the player if the player doesn't change the camera view or close the camera quickly, disabling the ventilation system.
- Phantom Mangle: Phantom Mangle appears exclusively on CAM 04. Once spotted, it will rise up behind the window of the office and start emitting a loud noise. It will also cause an audio error.
- Phantom Marionette: Phantom Marionette only appears in CAM 08 rarely. When he is seen, he will immediately lower the monitor and block the player's view and make disturbing noises. In these periods which takes approcimately 18 seconds, Springtrap can move faster.
