Curse of Dreadbear is a Halloween-themed DLC for Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted. The DLC is released in October 23, 2019 with the first wave of minigames and to be released in October 29, 2019 with the second wave of minigames. However, some of the minigames in Wave 2 are delayed to October 31st.
The DLC pack now includes newly introduced characters, returning characters, Halloween-themed locations and new mechanics.
As of now, the DLC is only available on Windows, Oculus Quest and PlayStation 4, but it will soon be released to Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.

This content requires the base game Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted in order to play.
Corn Maze (Cutouts)
It contains multiple minigames that takes place on a graveyard, with attractions that take place.

It has different mini-games taking place on an abandoned mansion.

It is similar to the FNaF 1 challenge, but with some different mechanics and having different animatronics to fit the Halloween theme.

Once the DLC is downloaded, the player will be greeted by HandUnit, and will talk about the DLC. To access the DLC content, the player must press the button on the cupcake at the right side of the hub to teleport the player to the main menu of the DLC.
The DLC has added three Gameplay segments, with three or four minigames each. These minigames feature new animatronics that wasn't in the game before (with the exception of the Withered Animatronics and Foxy who doesn't actually act as an antagonist). Some of the minigames are a "reskin" of previously existed minigames, while some are completely new.
- The name of Curse of Dreadbear was initially called Rise of the Franken Freddy when it was in BETA phase.
- This is the first time an addition to the base FNaF game that is not free.
- This DLC contains several references to reporting and scanning for bugs or viruses.
- Some theorize that in universe, this DLC is an attempt by Fazbear Entertainment to remove Glitchtrap from the game.
