Five Laps at Freddy's, otherwise abbreviated as FLaF, is an upcoming kart-racing spin-off to the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise being developed by Clickteam LLC using Unreal Engine. The demo for the game releases on August 7th, 2024, with the full game expected to release in 2025.

Welcome to Five Laps at Freddy's, The premier animatronic kart racing circuit featuring you favorite and lovable Fazbear friends! Sponsored by Fazbear Entertainment Select one of 12 of your favorite animatronic #FNaF characters and race on sixteen tracks set across 4 cups! Each track is based on your favorite locations from Five Nights at Freddy's lore, including Fazbear Hills, Midnight Motorist and more! Starting out on The Dayshift, a relatively safe place, you'll compete to take first place but make sure to manage your kart's battery power... use too much boost or take too many hits and you may end up on The Nightshift where not only do you have to worry about winning, you'll also have to avoid an angry endoskeleton who's on the hunt for you! While navigating the tracks, find birthday presents which contain items that can help you reach number one, everything from The Fazblaster to the Cupcake Boost! Each item even has a powerup mode, should you dare to risk some of that precious battery power... You'll also find glitched powerups which can increase your battery size and your maximum speed, so long you don't get hit and lose some of them again! Development[]
Despite not knowing what it was at the time, Clickteam first teased development for the game on October 10th 2023, asking for help with Unreal Engine[3].
Later, it would be properly announced on June 19th as a part of a week-long buildup to FNaF's 10 year anniversary.[4] On August 3rd, Clickteam would release a trailer for the game. On August 7th, a demo for the game would be released, giving players a first-look at the game.
On August 14th, Clickteam would announce the start of open betas for FLaF, as well as announcing a bug fix for the demo due to glitches that caused issues such as soft-locking and game crashes. They would also confirm on this date that there would be a different Night Shift enemy for each circuit.[2]
