Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2 is the sequel to Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted. The game launched on December 14th, 2023 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation VR2 and PC with a non-VR flat screen mode and Meta Quest 2 release launching in Spring 2024.

Plot

Within the game you work for Fazbear Entertainment, and the main plot somewhat resembles that same plot as the Help Wanted. The player must must conduct repairs, manage the Pizzeria, and complete many other tasks. There are multiple locations and characters within the game and each location has different tasks.

Backstage This segment sees the player in a few of the different attractions in the Mega Pizzaplex, assisting the animatronics in artistic activities. Arts and Crafts: Daycare Salon: S.T.A.F.F. Makeover Salon: Glam Makeover Salon: Roxy Repair (Hardmode Level) Arts and Crafts: Loft (Hardmode Level) Fazcade This segment sees the player participating in multiple varying minigames, some returning attractions from the Pizzaplex such as Fazer Blast or Bonnie Bowl, and multiple new ones as well. Food Prep This segment finds the player working as an employee in three of the Pizzaplex's various restaurants, serving food to S.T.A.F.F. Bots and Glamrock Chica alike. El Chip's Pizza Pizza Pizza Fazbear Theater (Hardmode Level) Ticket Booth This segment of levels has the player going through two different Freddy's themed rides, fixing one and playing through the other. Carousel Capt. Foxy's Log Ride Cinder Carousel (Hardmode Level) Sister Location This segment acts as a recreation of the Five Nights at Freddy's fifth installment's gameplay, having a new gameplay style each night. It also includes new games loosely based on some of Sister Location's nights. Development

Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2 was announced on May 24th, 2023, via its first teaser trailer. The game would later receive a booth at PAX West, where an exclusive demo of the game would be playable. This demo included 3 playable minigames, being Bonk a' Bon, Breaker Room and Carousel, with the minigames being listed in order of difficulty.

On November 20th, 2023, a gameplay trailer for the game would drop, showcasing clips of many of the new minigames and returning characters featured in the game. As well as this, the release date would be confirmed for December 14th via a Playstation Blog released the same day.

On December 5th, 2024, Dawko would announce that in his charity stream on that upcoming Saturday. On the day of the stream, Steel Wool would confirm on Twitter that the announcement was related to Help Wanted 2. By the end of the stream, Dawko would showcase an animated gif of the Mimic in the game's gallery alongside a tiger plushie teasing a free update. The update would also be confirmed by Dawko to release on the follow Tuesday of December 10th.
