The Instructor Bot, otherwise known as the Rules Bot, is a S.T.A.F.F. Bot who serves as the rules instructor for the Fazer Blast attraction in Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex. It debuted in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach before a large number of them would make a brief appearance in the game's DLC, RUIN.
Appearance[]
The Instructor Bot appears as a standard S.T.A.F.F. Bot, albeit wearing a large laser-tag vest and gray helmet. The vest holds an orange glowing version of Glamrock Freddy's lightning bolt insignia on its chest, and glowing orange shoulder pads. The helmet it wears is also styled to appear as Freddy, having a small top hat and bear ears on it. It holds a Fazerblaster at all times, and stays up on a stage informing the player on the rules of Fazer Blast and how to put on their equipment properly.
Alternate, dirtier versions of them appear in RUIN with their vests now glowing a bright green instead of orange, and with them wearing the helmets of the Alien Bots instead of the previous Freddy themed helmet. As well as this, both variants can be found in a Shattered state.
Behavior[]
The Instructor Bot stays up on a small stage outside of the Fazer Blast arena, reciting the rules of the game to the player. Despite their explanation of the rules appearing long, the Instructor Bot only lists out two rules, with the latter being to have fun, and the former being a long list of the things players are not allowed to do. After they've finished reciting the rules, they will ask if the player wants to hear them again before repeating the lines and animations. In RUIN, they appear primarily as map props.

Trivia[]
- Despite the Instructor Bot claiming that the opposing teams are orange and blue, the only colors the vests appear to come in are orange and green.
- As well as this, the bot does not specify which team it is on, saying "Orange/Blue team" during its opening speech, despite it very clearly wearing an orange team vest.
- The Instructor Bot will always mispronounce "Fazer Blast" as "Phaser Blast" due to the S.T.A.F.F. Bot voices being text-to-speech.
- Strangely, the Instructor Bot lacks any subtitles in the game.
- Instructor Bot's instructions on how to clean one's eye if shot with a Fazerblaster are ironically harmful in themselves, as regular soap is acidic and will cause pain and irritation to a person's eyes.
