Mrs. Helpful is a small bear animatronic who acts as a motivational animatronic for Murray's Costume Manor employees. She appears in many different areas of the location with many different outfits and roles, and is canonically voiced by the wife of her creator Edwin, Fiona Murray. She acts primarily as an optional expositional character in her debut game, Five Nights at Freddy's: Secret of the Mimic.
She also has a direct counterpart and canonical husband in the form of Mr. Helpful.
Appearance[]
Regular[]
Mrs. Helpful appears as a small purple bear with a light purple on her stomach, palms, inner ears, and covering on and around her entire face and chin. She has large rosy cheeks, red lipstick, eyelashes, small buck teeth, an underbite, and an elongated head with similarly elongated eyes. On top of her head are her eyebrows resting static on her forehead, and she wears a large red bow behind her ears, and a pearl necklace. She has long thin arms with four non-moving fingers on her hands, and a thick black neck. Finally, the animatronic is attached to a mechanical arm that attaches the animatronic to whatever base she is currently on, and allows her to lean in any direction.
Outfits[]
Mrs. Helpful appears in multiple different outfits depending on where the player encounters her. All of these outfits are simply different paint on her torso, and do not change the character's overall silhouette.
The first of which being her Ringmaster outfit, where she wears a blue showman's coat with an open black collar with a golden trim and three connected golden buttons, and a red vest underneath. Her second outfit sees her in business attire, wearing a brown plaid suit jacket with a brown button-up shirt underneath, and a frilly white bowtie. Her third outfit is that of a carnival barker, with her wearing a white and red tank-top with two bows as connecting buttons, and two different patterns. The right half is a diamond pattern, while the left half are diagonal stripes.
Her fourth and final outfit can only be found in one spot in the game, atop a giant birthday cake. This outfit sees her wearing a white t-shirt with pink striped sleeves, a clown-like collar with small bells, and two red buttons. Her lower half is decorated to appear as a blue plaid skirt, and her bow is changed to yellow. Finally, she has blue clown make-up around her eyes.
Gameplay[]
Mrs. Helpful first appears as a secondary announcer for the Welcome Show, announcing the Diving Seal's "death defying dive" and dancing along to Mr. Helpful's singing at the end. She later appears in multiple areas serving specific minor roles such as a carnie at the front of Big Top's showroom, or as a "Push to Talk" animatronic for employees to use as a motivator, with each message personalized depending on the employee's position.
In some executive level dialogue, Mrs. Helpful has personal messages from Edwin himself, venting about the loss of Fiona and how he wishes he could hear her voice for real instead of the recordings within the machine.

- Mrs. Helpful's default appearance, unlike Mr. Helpful's, does actually make a brief appearance in the game, appearing outside of the Big Top showroom in the closed ticket booth.
- It is unknown as to why exactly this Mrs. Helpful is the default one rather than her carnival barker outfit like Mr. Helpful.
- Mrs. Helpful's birthday appearance has makeup similar to Jackie's, which could be in reference to how this variant is only found in a secret room accessed through Jackie's Birthday Showroom.
- Mr. and Mrs. Helpful are canonically voiced by Edwin and Fiona Murray respectively, mirroring the Helpful's position as a married couple. This is furthered by the four characters being voiced by Jim and Tamra Meskimen respectively, who are also a married couple in real life.
