Nightmare Freddy is the titular antagonist of Five Nights at Freddy's 4 and a returning character in Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted. He is a nightmarish incarnation of the original version of Freddy Fazbear.
Appearance
Nightmare Freddy is having dark brown complexion and light brown accents on multiple parts of his body, his eyes are silver with orange pupils. He is mostly tattered and is in severe disrepair in all parts of his body. His hat is torn and has wires coming out of it. However, his bowtie on the other hand is untouched.
One can see parts of his endoskeleton in his torso exposed. His teeth are sharp and silver, having two sets of teeth one at the back and one at the front.
Behavior
FNaF VR: Help Wanted
Hallway Crawl
Nightmare Freddy appears in Spooky Mansion's Hallway Crawl stage. Partway through the stage, Nightmare Freddy will begin to approach the player from behind, his shadow visible when thunder strikes. The player must move forward, escaping Nightmare Freddy, who stalks at the same speed as the player. If he catches up, Nightmare Freddy will jumpscare the player, killing them.
Trivia
- Usually, Nightmare Freddy and the Freddles appear together, but the Freddles made their debut in the base game before the DLC formally introduced Nightmare Freddy.
