The Yellow Rabbit, otherwise known as the Yellow Thing or the Creature, is a large rabbit entity and the main antagonist of Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit. It is a supernatural entity that bears a many similarities to William Afton.
Appearance[]
The Yellow Rabbit bears a striking resemblance to Spring Bonnie, being a large golden-yellow animatronic rabbit with a purple bowtie and two buttons below it. Unlike Spring Bonnie, the Yellow Rabbit is much bulkier in its build, having a wider head and torso, as well as thicker arms and broader shoulders. It holds two sets of teeth, with the front set being extremely flat and blocky, and the second hidden set of teeth being thin and sharp fang-like teeth. The inside of its mouth shows a sort've fleshy inside, with long red tendrils stretching from the top to the bottom of its inner mouth. Finally, it's eyes are completely black, with only two glowing blue irises within them.
In promotional material, as well as the main menu and game-over screens, the Yellow Rabbit has a vastly altered appearance in which it has withering across its face. Said withering shows multiple wires and the flesh-like inside of the creature.
History[]
The Yellow Rabbit is first seen lurking in the past version of Freddy's (Jeff's Pizza in the present). After playing a game of hide and seek with his new friends, Oswald would find the Yellow Rabbit standing in the middle of the pizzeria as everybody ran away screaming. The creature beckoned Oswald to follow him, and when Oswald does so, he finds the Yellow Rabbit in a room filled with dead children. The thing attacks Oswald, but he successfully escapes the creature and exits through the ballpit, finding himself back in Jeff's Pizza. As Oswald's dad scolds Oswald, the Yellow Rabbit grabs him and pulls him into the pit. Oswald is able to pull his father out, but it is immediately clear that his father has been replaced by the Yellow Rabbit. The creature takes Oswald home, where Oswald is seemingly the only person to notice that it's not his father.
In the following nights, the Yellow Rabbit patrols Oswald's home and the Freddy's inside the ballpit, hunting Oswald and attempting to kill him. Each night, the Yellow Rabbit also captures and hides a child within the Pizzeria that Oswald must save. On the final night, the Yellow Rabbit takes Oswald's dad and seemingly tries to trap him inside the ballpit, but Oswald is able to stop it and get both himself and his father out of Freddy's. When the Yellow Rabbit pursues them, Oswald hit it back into the netting around the pit, where it gets trapped. The Yellow Rabbit struggles to break free, roaring at Oswald as it does, until the netting around its neck seemingly strangles and kills the creature.
In a variation of the 2-star ending, Jeff goes to investigate the ballpit and finds the Yellow Rabbit's body before it jumpscares and presumably kills Jeff.
Behavior[]

The Yellow Rabbit's basic jumpscare.
During regular gameplay, the Yellow Rabbit will roam Oswald's house and Freddy's, moving from room to room searching for Oswald. If spotted, Oswald must run away and hide from the Yellow Rabbit in one of the various hiding places in the locations. If the Yellow Rabbit sees Oswald enter the hiding place, the player will immediately die. If not, the Yellow Rabbit will search the hiding places, and the player must perform specific action commands depending on the spot in order to not be found by the creature. At some points, the Yellow Rabbit will ambush the player forcing them into a quicktime event to keep it from killing them. The Yellow Rabbit is also attracted to noise, meaning if the player makes too much noise in one area, it will attract the Yellow Rabbit to come investigate. This allows the player to utilize different items in Oswald's house to lure the Yellow Rabbit away from them.
The Yellow Rabbit only acts as a threat during the night segments, as during the day segments, the rabbit never leaves Oswald's house.
