— A line of Toy Freddy's from FNaF AR

Toy Freddy Fazbear, otherwise known simply as Toy Freddy, is the titular secondary antagonist of Five Nights at Freddy's 2, who is a returning character that appears in Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted and Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery.

Toy Freddy is a light brown, plastic bear with light brown accents on his muzzle, belly and pelvis, as well as rings around his eyes. He has small, oval ears on either side of his head, has shiny blue eyes, and black eyebrows on his chubby face. He has a small, squarish muzzle, with a big black nose and three small freckles on either side in a triangle pattern. He wears a tall black top hat with a red stripe above its brim. He has four teeth on his lower jaw.

His torso is wide and squarish, with a round belly. He has a black bowtie, and two small black buttons beneath his bow tie. His joints are covered by round plastic balls colored the same as the rest of his body.

In Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery, Toy Freddy speaks in a more affable manner, seemingly treating the player as a friend.

Toy Freddy is one of the Toy Animatronics made for the newly rebranded Freddy Fazbear's Pizza in 1987, where FNaF 2 takes place. Interestingly, these animatronics have built-in facial recognition feature that can apparently link to the criminal database. However, a terrible event (possibly the Bite of '87) happened in the pizzeria, which resulted in an investigation, lockdown, and eventually its closing.

After years of being unused after the closing of the pizzeria, Toy Freddy's parts along with other animatronics' are taken to Fazbear's Fright in FNaF 3 as decorations.

In Special Delivery, a rebuild of Toy Freddy is made by Fazbear Entertainment as part of the Fazbear Funtime Service. During its development, Nora from the Research & Development found that the interference caused by the facial recognition suite has a risk of rendering the function of users' headset useless (which is the reason why Toy Freddy is able to drain the player's battery). However, Tristan from the Compliance Team ignored her warning.

Toy Freddy also makes an appearance in The Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience.

FNaF VR: Help Wanted

Five Nights at Freddy's 2

Toy Freddy appears in the Five Nights at Freddy's 2 gameplay section. He will make his way to the office along with the other Toy Animatronics. He will appraoach the office from the front hallway,  first standing in its center, then leaning in by the doorway. He will eventually walk into the office and stare at the player, causing the lights to flicker. The player must then quickly equip the Freddy mask to deter him from ending their run with a jumpscare.

Toy Freddy appears in Special Delivery as one of the event-exclusive antagonists. He only appears in the Valentine Event, which happened from February 6th, 2020 until February 24th, 2020. Toy Freddy was added into character rotation permanently on February 19th, 2021.

His attacks are essentially similar to the other Toy Animatronics. When he goes haywire, the player must look at him while wearing the mask. However, Toy Freddy also has a mechanic where he can randomly drain the player's Battery quickly. To stop this, the player must quickly wear the mask until the effect stops.

In Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery, Toy Freddy has a total of two skins currently.

VR Toy Freddyram.png
VR Toy Freddy is a Neon-themed skin of Toy Freddy released at May 7, 2020. He is also the first skin of Toy Freddy in Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery. He is the first of three skins from the Arcade Mayhem event to arrive.

He appears to be similar to the nature of Toy Freddy Fazbear, almost sharing the same model with him, but wearing VR Goggles. His appearance is a dark neon purple and black neon color, which also applies to his hat, bowtie, buttons, and microphone. He is textured with few cyber-styled circuit lines and wears a virtual-reality headset.

In his attack mode, he is replaced by Attack-Mode Toy Freddy, his neon skin color turns fiery orange, covered with several glowing circuit web textures, and no longer wears a headset to reveal his bright yellow-green eyes.

Woodland Toy Freddy byScrappyboi.png
Woodland Toy Freddy is a forest-themed skin for toy Freddy released on November 12, 2020 as the start to the Woodland Event.

Woodland Toy Freddy is similar to Toy Freddy, however he is made entirely out of wood and is covered in moss. Atop his head are multiple branches coming out of his head, replacing his tophat. He has a large gap within his chest and his limbs are covered in mushrooms. Finally, he holds a large walking stick instead of the usual microphone.

FNaF VR: Help Wanted

  • In Help Wanted, he appears to a darker shade of brown instead of his former orangish-brown color.
    • This might be a reference how real-life grizzly bears have brown-maroon complexion.
  • Unlike in the game he debuted, Toy Freddy now keeps the pitch black eyes during his jumpscare, instead of switching back to his normal eyes.
  • For unknown reasons, he's missing the four teeth on his upper jaw in Help Wanted.

FNaF AR: Special Delivery

  • In Special Delivery, Toy Freddy has the same voice actor he had in Ultimate Custom Night, Darren Roebuck.
  • Toy Freddy was the first to get a skin in the Arcade Mayhem event.
    • Said skin is VR Toy Freddy.
  • Toy Freddy's icon was accidentally replaced by Lefty's in a shop icon for his profile pack.
  • Woodland Toy Freddy is the first and only bear animatronic to not wear a tophat.
  • Woodland Toy Freddy is the first skin to have completely unique sound effects, apart from his voice.
    • Flaming Springtrap however, did have a unique jumpscare-sound.
