Hello fellow wiki users. Hope you are having a decent day today.
We have a bad news today, and that is we will be closing all the comments on every wiki pages from now on. A lot of reasons why, but mainly because it's just really out of hands for us staffs to handle. People harassing other users, acting really weird towards other user (we literally have users trying to flirt on people), not following rules that are common sense, and just overall very "cringy" (I wanted to sum it up professionally but cringe is the only word I can think of).
"This is a load of bullcrap. Where do I talk to other users now?" We actually have multiple options for you.
- The Triple A Fazbear Wiki Discussion. There is a reason why it exists. For you to communicate. Simply press "Discuss" on the top of the page and wazzah, you're in the right place. You can post stuff like on any other social media but obviously common sense rules please.
- You can also make a blog post. Like this one that I just made. If you came from the FNaF Wiki you're probably familiar with this. To make one, go to "Community" at the top of the page and in the dropdown menu choose "Blog Post". There is where everyone's blog posts are kept and where you can make one yourself. People can comment on your post as well.
- This one is mainly for editing problems towards specific pages, NOT casual chatting, for example reporting on vandalizing, incorrect infos, and things like that. For those, you can use their talk pages. Simply go to the page you want to discuss about, then at the dropdown menu beside the edit button, choose the "Talk" option and you can discuss what you want about the page.
Closing comment features has been in us staffs' mind for a long time, and we finally decided on it. If you're not happy with this changes, you shouldn't. Wikis aren't a place for you to chat anyway. There's Discord, Reddit, Twitter and so on. Will we ever open it back? Perhaps. Perhaps not. Only time will tell. That is all. Thank you and have a great day.
